
Class Descriptions
Hip-Hop Major Classes:
DDC Mini Beast (Baby Team 1)
Ages 4-8. No previous training. Emphasis is on creative movement. Each dancer must be able to pay attention and understand instruction. Following direction is key!
DDC Mini Pomers (Baby Team 2)
Ages 4-8. No previous training needed. The perfect class for beginners. Each dancer will use pom-poms to help assist with coordination of dance steps. Light tumbling movements included in routines.
Junior intro-competitive (Junior Team 1)
Ages 9-12. Basic/Intermediate hip hop/majorette technique with minimal training. Acro and Tumbling skills needed. A competitive beginners group, designed for competition preparation.
Junior Competitive (Junior Team 2)
Ages 9-12 Intermediate/Experienced hip hop/majorette Dance technique. Acro and Tumbling skills needed. A competitive group, designed for intense-level competitions. A no tear zone! (lol)
Senior intro-Competitive (Senior Team 1)
Ages 13-21. Basic/Intermediate hip hop/majorette technique with minimal training. Acro and Tumbling skills needed. A competitive beginners group, designed for competition preparation.
Senior Competitive (Senior Team 2)
Ages 10- up. Intermediate - Advanced with emphasis on pointe technique. Three classes/week required. Four classes/week recommended.
Ballet
Ages 4-8. Little or no prior training. Beginner class with basic instruction
Tapnastics
Ages 2-5. Beginner class with basic instruction. Dancers learn tumbling and heel, toe, step essentials to help implement dance structure.
Tap 1
Ages 4-8. Little or no training. Beginner class with basic instruction.
Tap 2
Ages 9-12. Basic technique with little or no prior training.
Tap 3
Ages 12 and up. Beg./Int. with 0-1 years prior training.
Jazz 1
Ages 9 to 12. Intermediate level training. Goal to enhance performance quality and educate dancers on dance fundamentals.
Jazz 2
Ages 13 to 21 Intermediate level training. Goal to enhance performance quality and educate dancers on dance fundamentals.
Little Homie Hip Hop (Boys only)
Ages 9-15 Little to no prior training
